How to print at RRU Langford - John Horgan Campus - everyone

This content applies to everyone who works or studies at RRU Langford, John Horgan Campus, no matter your home institution or your role.

John Horgan Campus print account

Everyone who works or studies at RRU Langford, John Horgan Campus, will use an assigned JHC print account username and temporary password. Information about these can be found on the login screen for the Papercut Print Dashboard.

After you first login, you must change your password. This JHC print account username and password will allow you to print as long as you are:

  • connected to the Westshore-Secure wi-fi network

  • working or enrolled in courses offered at John Horgan Campus

The printing system at Colwood Campus and the printing system at John Horgan campus do not talk to each other.

RRU staff, faculty, associate faculty, students: your regular RRU Login - the one you use to log into Moodle etc., cannot be used for printing at John Horgan Campus. You must use the assigned print account credentials.

Additionally, if you have money on your print/copy account at RRU Colwood, this won’t be recognized by print services at RRU Langford. You will need to deposit money on your RRU Langford (John Horgan Campus) account.

Print a document

-1- Prepare and save a document

Papercut prints full documents. To print only a few pages, save those as a separate document and submit that for printing. To print web content, save as a document (PDF?) and submit that for printing.

-2- Login to the Papercut Print Dashboard

-3- Upload your document to the FindMe (cloud) printer queue. Need more details about how to do that?

-4- Go to the printer/copier to release your print job

Release a print job

  • At the printer, login using your assigned username and the password you chose (or kept)

  • Choose ‘release all’ or ‘release print job'

  • Collect your printout

  • Log out
