Firewall upgrade on Colwood campus
To maintain system reliability, improve network performance, and strengthen our security posture:
What: An important firewall upgrade will be completed on the Colwood campus
When: Thursday, December 18 from 7 to 8pm PST
Impact: a network (and internet) outage 30-60 minutes
During the outage, all RRU network-dependent services will be unavailable. |

What do you need to do?
Save your work before 7:00 pm.
Expect interruptions/failures/outages if you are using networked services during the outage window.
No action is needed after the upgrade; everything should reconnect automatically.
