Systems and Network Outage April 27/28 2024

The weekend upgrade of the core network was successful and things should be working again across the campus. If you are experiencing network connectivity problems with your computer or desktop phone please try restarting it.

Starting at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, IT Services will upgrade our computer network which will continue to improve our network performance and stability.

 All on-campus and off-campus network services hosted on campus will be offline during the upgrade work.  

These services will be unavailable: 

  • Webmail 

  • Moodle sites 

  • Corporate Application such as Agresso, EMS, CMMS, HR Smart, etc. 

  • Email – both sending and receiving 

  • Phones 

  • Network drives and file server  

  • All internet access (wifi and network) 

  • Account creation / log in / course purchases on the Professional and Continuing Studies site (though the site will be up & people can research courses)

  • All computer workstations accessing internal and external services: 

    • Computer labs 

    • Library workstations 

    • Remote access from home 

 This outage could negatively affect specific functions of your areas, such as payment systems, course registration, etc.  If you have questions, you may direct them to 


Please note the following services that are hosted remotely and will remain available: 


  • Microsoft Office 365 

  • Microsoft Teams 

  • Avanti (pay stubs, leave requests)

  • HR Smart

  • The Professional and Continuing Studies site (to research/view information about courses only - no login capability and no course purchase capability)

Please review how this outage impacts your area and plan accordingly. 

Service should be fully restored by 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 27.  If there is a delay, we will notify the community by 6pm on Saturday, April 27 via web notice at
