When printing a report, the date is not in the format you prefer.  Possibly the "day" is missing from the date.

The solution is to change the date format on the computer.  This change must be done with the assistance of the Computer Services Helpdesk.  Please call them at x2659.

Step-by-step guide for Windows 7

Close EMS

  1. Right click on the time in the bottom right corner of your screen and select Adjust Date/Time
  2. Click on Change Date and time...
  3. You might get a warning at this point that you need an account with elevated permissions.  This is where the Computer Services helpdesk will enter their credentials
  4. Now click on the Formats tab
  5. You want to adjust the Long Date format so that it reads dddd, MMMM d, yyyy

  6. Click OK

When you open a report now, the date format should now display the day of the week along with the date.

Step-by-step guide for Windows 10

Close EMS

  1. Right click on the time in the bottom right corner of your screen and select Adjust Date/Time
  2. Click on Change date and time formats at the bottom of the screen
  3. You might get a warning at this point that you need an account with elevated permissions.  This is where the Computer Services helpdesk will enter their credentials
  4. Change the Long Date format so that it reads dddd, MMMM d, yyyy
  5. Click Back button 
  6. Close the window

When you open a report now, the date format should now display the day of the week along with the date.
