Not seeing your picture displayed?

...

In the old site, you could write some text, insert a picture, write some text, insert a picture...

In the new site, you can choose to add:

  • a text block component OR
  • a media block component OR
  • a text and media block component.

(Find more info about components).

To create a page that looks like text + image + text, you could insert a text block component, then a media block component, like so:

The end result would look something like this:

But wait, let's have a look at the Text and media block component.

The Text and Media block component allows you to choose where to place your picture - left, right or none.  If you think 'none' means 'you decide', you're wrong!  None means don't display a picture and in fact, remove the picture I've chosen.  Only do this if you really mean it.  Otherwise, you'll have to re-find the picture you wanted

If you chose to use a Text and media block component, your content could look like this, assuming you chose to display your picture on the left:

*** note:  in this example, my section title is "A famous castle".

If you chose to display your picture on the right, it would look like this:

Image Added

But, if you choose 'none', the picture will be displayed on the top of your text, like this:

So, you could create a page with a picture that looks "inline" by adding a text block and then a text and media block, like so:

You have options!  It all depends on what look you're really going for.
